I have a surprise for you today! Instead of my normal post, I want to share with you my very first interview. Instead of reading, you can listen!
A couple of weeks ago, Ingrid Talpak contacted me and asked to interview me for her WebTalkRadio show Living With More Style than Cash. The idea was more than a little frightening. I know sometimes it’s strange to hear someone’s voice after you’ve been reading their words and imagined a voice that was totally different. But alas, I decided to give something new a try and I’m glad I did!
I was really nervous at first. Really nervous! But once I started chatting with Ingrid, the nerves floated away and it was just like talking with a friend. I really enjoyed our conversation.
You can listen to the interview here!

You were great! I listened to the whole thing and found it (you) to be very inspirational. We are in the later years of paying off our house, saving for retirement, and helping our college age kids with their education. Different part of life than you, but your YNAB and frugal living tips give me more ideas to meet our goals. Glad I listened to the whole thing. Again, great job!

Thanks for your kind words Carol!

You did such a great job, Stephanie! It definitely was weird but cool, putting a voice with your face and blog. 🙂
Stephanie says
Thanks Liz! I’m glad you agree that it’s weird to put a voice with a face (and words) that are familiar. 🙂

I can’t wait to listen!

Congratulations on your first interview! And great job! I really enjoyed many of the points you made. My favorite were:
-being open with people about your debt when they question your lifestyle choices
-living on money you have now not what you are predicting you make (this rings true for me before we started paying off our debt. I kept thinking we would pay it off when we made more money)
-going all in with your commitment to debt repayment
-explaining YNAB- I’ve been reluctant to try it but now I’m sold

Thanks Judi! Thanks for sharing what you liked best!
